‘‘Digital Bangladesh”
According
to oxford Dictionary “Digital means wring a system of receiving and Rending
information as a series of the numbers one and zero, showing that an electronic
signal is there or is not there.” Digital Bangladesh
means digitalizing Bangladesh
by ensuring an ICT based Society where information will be available on line
and where all possible task of the government will be performed using digital
technology. The Rolling government has aimed at making a digital Bangladesh to
over come mort of the problems that our country faces. The motto of digital Bangladesh is
to establish technology based digital governance, e-commerce, e-agriculture,
e-production, e-education etc. The benefits of digital Bangladesh our many. If we can
establish a digital Bangladesh
we will see our country as a dreamland. To implement this dream of digital Bangladesh, government
has to take certain initiatives. Digital government will curb crime and corruption
and pave the way for our countries rapid development. To see our country as a
digital one, governments commitment and peoples co-operation are urgently required.
Government should take steps to spread ICT education throughout the country. In
digital Bangladesh,
our education should be computer based and in primary and secondary schools
students should get easy access to the computer. The expectation of all civil
society in the celebration of golden jubilee of Bangladesh
independence in 2021, the government will take all necessary steps to build up
digital Bangladesh
and information based society. Though it is very hard to materialize the dream
of digital Bangladesh
but if it is possible to take the realistic and contemporary steps to full fill
the expectation, the day is not so far while the government will be capable to
regulate the whole country with pressing one digit only.
